This is a space dedicated to the power of stories…
Claudia Stories is a space dedicated to the power of stories, ancient myths, fairy tales, archetypes, and modern fiction, and to how they can be lived, not just read.
Here, stories become mirrors. Ways of understanding ourselves, our choices, and the chapters we are living.
This is where we explore why certain characters call to us, what those stories reflect about who we are, and how their wisdom can be thoughtfully woven into everyday life. A return to story as a universal language of meaning, reflection, and connection.
WHAT HAPPENS HERE
Through Story Sessions, workshops, and shared reflections, I guide people to explore the stories and characters they love as mirrors of their own experience.
Using myth, archetypes, and fiction, the Witch, the Healer, the Warrior, the Fairy, the Heroine, etc., we look closely at the themes, traits, and journeys that resonate most.
Through this exploration, people gain a deeper understanding of their own story, the chapter they are in now, and the directions they may wish to grow into.
Alongside this work, I share insights and musings on myth, storytelling, and the timeless wisdom stories carry. Stories are not escapes from reality. They are pathways back to it.
About claudia
Hi, I’m Claudia, founder of Claudia Stories.
I work as a Story Guide and storyteller, and as a mythologist in the sense of being a lifelong student of myth, folklore, and tales. Through archetypes, narrative, and ancient stories, I explore how the stories we love help us better understand the stories we live.
I work with readers and those curious about story and myth who feel a strong connection to certain stories and characters. Together, we explore what those connections reflect about their own lives.
The stories that resonate with us are rarely random. They often point to something meaningful we are ready to explore.
Me and story
Stories have been part of my life since childhood. I’ve been an avid reader since the age of seven, and to this day libraries and bookshops feel like places of discovery and inspiration. When I’m not reading, you’ll often find me with a cup of tea, my favourite companion for thinking, dreaming, and creating.
I hold a university degree in English and Portuguese Literature, Culture, and Language from Universidade Nova de Lisboa in Lisbon, Portugal, and the Université libre de Bruxelles in Brussels, Belgium. This formed the foundation of my lifelong interest in narrative, symbolism, myth, and meaning.
I continue to deepen this work through ongoing study of folklore, archetypes, and mythic traditions. I am a member of the Folklore Society in the UK and of the Association for the Study of Women and Mythology.
I have also taken part in multiple courses and programmes with mythologist Sharon Blackie, and regularly join her Fairy Tale Salons, alongside studies with the Jung Platform. From this blend of literature, myth, and lived experience, Story Sessions and story based workshops were born.
More About Me
Alongside my work with story and myth, I bring over 20 years of international experience as a teacher, consultant, and coach in communication, storytelling, and leadership development.
I’ve worked across Europe, North America, and the Middle East, supporting professionals and organisations such as CERN, Nestlé, L’Oréal, Novartis, Rothschild & Co, PwC, IMEC, and Euroclear.
Across cultures and professions, I’ve seen how stories support clarity, connection, and meaningful communication.
Originally from Portugal, I live in Brussels and work internationally. I’m fluent in English, French, and Portuguese, with knowledge of Spanish, German, and Dutch.
When I’m not working with stories, you’ll find me travelling, walking in nature, shaping clay, painting, or enjoying quiet moments with a book nearby.
